My obsession with the Drag Queen scene started with a love for RuPaul’s version of DRAG –“If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?”

While they dance at the fringe of mainstream society, Drag Queens also reflect and project our most ridiculous, and even insidious, social mores.  What better way to accept what and who we are than to laugh and use glitter to blot out the most heartbreaking aspects of us?

After surveying the blogosphere, it quickly became clear to me that there is still space for a blog highlighting the best aspects of DRAG…

Confidence, Acceptance, and FUN!

That is what I hope to do here.  I hope you enjoy it!  And, if you can stand a bit more, friend me – Mandy Manolo – and follow HighKixx.com on Facebook where I post daily about Drag happenings!
